Tamraght surf camp: the quiet village between Banana Point and Devil's Rock
Tamraght is a farming village about 17 km north of Agadir, Morocco, one bay south of Taghazout. The SurfsHUB hostel here is for people who want to learn without an audience: Banana Point and Devil's Rock, the softest waves on the coast, are eight minutes away in the hostel van, and the village goes to sleep early.

Tamraght sits on the hill above the Oued Tamraght river mouth, with banana plantations running down to the sea. Aourir, the market town everyone calls Banana Village, is ten minutes south by car or half an hour on foot; Taghazout is fifteen minutes north. There are a handful of cafés, a hammam, a Sunday souk, and no bars.
Below the village, Banana Point peels off the river mouth as a long, slow right-hander that lets a beginner stand up and ride for longer than anywhere else nearby. Devil's Rock, the beach break at the south end, is where most first lessons on this coast happen.
Our Tamraght surf camp: 32 beds, a garden, and a roof that faces the sea
The Tamraght hostel is at Sahel 745, on the hill above the village: the beach is a twenty-minute walk down, or a few minutes in the hostel van, which takes every session to the spots. It is the larger and quieter of our two hostels: a garden with hammocks, a roof terrace for breakfast and yoga mats, and nine rooms, enough for a family or a group of friends to book side by side.

One double bed by the window, with a bathroom of its own. Three rooms like it; the Two Together room, or the upgrade on a Solo booking.
Triple room
Three single beds, a wardrobe and a bathroom of its own. Two rooms like it, for three friends or parents with a child.
Women-only dorm
Six beds in bunks, women only, with a bathroom of its own. Ask for it on the booking form.

The rate covers a bed in a shared room, breakfast, lunch and dinner, the daily surf trips with coaching, daily yoga and the airport transfer both ways. A private room is €20 more per person per night; Two Together always has its own room, double or twin.
