On the booking page: pick the hostel, then the package, your level, the nights and the dates, and pay by card through Stripe, either a 15% deposit or the whole amount. The written confirmation arrives by email within minutes.

Yes. The card payment confirms it, and the confirmation email follows within minutes, naming the hostel, the dates, the party and the total. If nothing has arrived within an hour, look in the spam folder, then write to us.

As soon as your flights are fixed. The two hostels have 53 beds between them, and the weeks from December to March are the first to fill.

From 3 to 28 nights, starting on any day of the week. The headline prices on the site are for 3 nights, the minimum; from 5 nights the three excursions are included.

Solo is one person in a dorm bed, with a private room for €20 more a night. Two Together is two people in a private room, double bed or twin beds, the room included in the per-person rate. Group & Family is three to twenty people at the per-person rate, each person at the rate of their own level, with private rooms as an option; from five people, 5% comes off the total. All three include the same coaching, meals, yoga and transfers.

One Group & Family booking for the three of you, at the standard per-person rate. Both hostels have a triple room with its own bathroom: choose Private room on the form (€20 more a night each) and say in the notes that you want the triple.

Yes, because it sets both the price and your coaching group: beginner if you have never surfed or have had a few lessons, intermediate if you paddle out on your own, catch unbroken waves and turn. A group can count some people at each level.

By written notice, up to the day before arrival. More than 14 days before you arrive, everything you have paid comes back to you in full. With 14 days or less to go, the deposit (15% of the total) is no longer refundable, because rooms and transport are by then held for you; anything paid above it comes back. Moving the dates is often the better route: that is free once, up to 3 days before arrival. The text that counts is in the booking terms.

Once, free of charge, up to 3 days before arrival, if the new week has room in the same hostel. A second change, or one inside the last 3 days, counts as a cancellation and a new booking.

If the cause is ours, you get everything back in full. If it is nobody's fault, an airport closed by weather or an official travel ban, you choose between a credit for a later stay and a refund of everything paid less the costs we cannot recover.

One price per person for the stay, by hostel and level. Three nights, the minimum, are €150 for beginners and €180 for intermediates in Tamraght, €180 and €210 in Taghazout; the booking page shows the total for any length from 3 to 28 nights. A private room adds €20 per person per night; Two Together already includes its room. The Morocco surf holidays page has the totals for 3, 5 and 7 nights.

A bed in a dorm, the daily surf trips with coaching in small groups, board and wetsuit for the whole stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner, daily yoga, video review, and return transfers from Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA). From 5 nights, the excursions to Paradise Valley, Souk El Had and an argan-oil village too.

Flights, travel insurance, the optional Imsouane day trip (€40 per person), and the excursions on stays shorter than 5 nights. The private room is the one paid extra, at €20 per person per night.

No. The rate covers everything in the list above, and the only add-on, the private room, is shown with its price before you pay. The balance you owe on arrival is printed on the confirmation.

You choose at checkout: a 15% deposit or the full amount, in a single card payment. The balance is paid on arrival at the hostel, in euros, in dirhams or by card; the exact figure is on your confirmation email.

The payment happens on Stripe's own secure page; your card details never pass through or sit on this website. You are charged in euros, and the price shown is the price charged.

Everyone in the party pays the SurfsHUB per-person rate for their level, and children count as beginners.

Not for length. The price follows the nights, with nothing taken off a longer stay; what changes with length is the programme: from 5 nights the three excursions come in at no extra cost. Parties of five or more get 5% off the total, taken off automatically when you book.

No. Coaching starts with the pop-up on the sand, and groups are split by level every morning, so a first-timer is never in a line-up with someone working on turns. Tell us honestly where you are on the booking form.

No. Intermediates surf with their own coach on the points, Anchor Point from Taghazout, Banana Point and Crocro from Tamraght, and work on their own surfing rather than sitting through a first lesson.

Beginner if you have never surfed or have had a handful of lessons and still need help choosing waves. Intermediate if you paddle out on your own, catch unbroken waves and turn. If you are between the two, book beginner and say so in the notes.

Eight people per coach at most, split by level. Abdul, the SurfsHUB head coach, is a Level 1 certified surf coach.

From Taghazout: Panorama and Hash Point on foot, Anchor Point and Killer Point in the van, and Banana Point for beginners on bigger days. From Tamraght: Devil's Rock and Banana Point eight minutes away in the van, Crocro, and Anchor Point in fifteen minutes when the coach calls it. Flat is rare between October and April; when it happens we surf Imsouane, which picks up the smallest swell, or run a longboard day. Too big is more common, and that is when beginners go to Devil's Rock, which halves the swell, and intermediates go to the sheltered points.

October to April for consistent swell; October and November for the best balance of waves, warm water and empty line-ups. Summer is small and warm and suits beginners and families. The month-by-month table is in the surf spots guide.

Both are included for the whole stay. If you would rather ride your own board, bring it and tell us with your flight number so the van has room for the bag.

Yes, a daily yoga session is in the price at both SurfsHUB hostels.

Agadir Al Massira (AGA). The Tamraght hostel is 45 to 55 minutes from it, Taghazout 50 to 60. The Flights to Agadir section on the homepage lists the cheapest return fares found recently from your country, and you can search your own dates there.

Yes, both ways, for every package. A driver from the hostel meets each arrival; send us your flight number after booking and we plan the pick-up around it.

Marrakech is about three and a half hours by road, and we can arrange that transfer for a supplement. Arriving by bus or by car, tell us your time and the hostel expects you.

Most EU, UK and US passports enter Morocco without a visa for a tourist stay, but check the current rule for yours before flying, and look at the passport's expiry date while you are at it.

Yes, with surfing covered. It is a condition of booking and we may ask to see the policy on arrival.

Yes. They are fifteen minutes apart, and the hostel van runs between them and to the spots as part of the stay. You can also split your nights between the two on the booking page, each leg at its hostel's rate.

Converted village homes with dorms and private rooms. Taghazout: six rooms and 21 beds, a mixed dorm of six, a women-only dorm of four, and double, twin, triple and quadruple rooms, all but the mixed dorm with a bathroom of their own. Tamraght: nine rooms and 32 beds, three dorms of six (mixed, women-only and a six-bed dorm), three doubles, two triples and a twin. Photos and the room tables are on the rooms page.

Breakfast on the roof at 09:00; lunch packed by the kitchen and eaten on the beach between sessions; dinner at 20:00 at one long table, one menu a day, mostly Moroccan. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal needs are catered for once you tell us at booking.

Not sold in Tamraght; limited in Taghazout. You may bring your own to either hostel and drink it on the terrace. The nearest shops that sell alcohol are in Agadir.

Partly. The twin and triple rooms at the Taghazout hostel have air conditioning; the other rooms rely on thick walls and a window that opens, and nights on this coast rarely go above 22°C, even in August.

Yes, at the Tamraght hostel from age 10: the gentlest waves are eight minutes away and the triple rooms suit a family. The family article walks through a week with kids.

From 5 nights, three are included, on one full day that replaces that day's surf trip: Paradise Valley, the palm gorge in the hills behind the coast; Souk El Had, Agadir's market; and an argan-oil village. The Imsouane surf day trip is optional: €40 per person, paid on the day.
